I love getting to share photos from my client’s boudoir photo shoots!
Mrs. B came to me looking for a creative gift for her husband as a way to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. They got married in New Orleans like my husband and I, so we had an instant connection!
Check out the gorgeous photos below along with words directly from her about the boudoir session…
“…my husband has hinted he has wanted pics like this of me for a long time, but I’m also really excited to do this for myself!”
“I was most nervous about how I would feel being in front of the camera in lingerie or nude. With Sontera’s coaching and the relaxed feel and environment of the shoot, all those fears went away. I felt very at ease in my own skin in front of the camera. The mimosas may have helped too! :) ”
“My favorite moment of the shoot… Sontera was taking pictures of me in front of the french doors. I was in my favorite outfit, she had candles lit behind me and referred to the look of the shoot as ‘if the queen were in lingerie, it would be just like this’ and I totally felt that way!”
“The entire process is such a breeze! I felt very beautiful and empowered before and after the shoot. I feel like every woman should have this experience at least once in her life, even if the pictures are just for her.”
Mrs. B decided to order a Collection Box with 25 of her favorite photos…
“When I handed him the leather box the photos were in, he looked a little confused at first… then he just started giggling. Then as he flipped through the photos, he kept saying things like ‘Oh!’, ‘That’s awesome!’ and best of all ‘You look beautiful!’ ”
Isn’t she just gorgeous?! She was a little nervous in the beginning, like many of my clients are, but I’m thankful she trusted me and embraced the process. I love that she totally got my vibe when I lit the candles and wanted her to feel like royalty. I mean there’s something about being in heels with fabulous lingerie and romantic candles that makes me think of the queen! hehe
Thank you Mrs. B for allowing me to share your photos and experience! I hope we run into each other in the French Quarter one day… you can find me stuffing my face with Cafe Du Monde beignets while I am unapologetically covered in powder sugar. ;)
xoxo,
Sontera
