It’s hard sometimes to explain why boudoir photography is so uniquely powerful. Some women I meet think it’s not for them because they don’t see themselves as sexy. My answer is always “It’s not about that!” Even when you do end up looking sexy (and I promise you will), you won’t realize it’s happening.

The sexy/beautiful/feminine photographs are captured in the laid back moments when I can catch you with your guard down. Maybe you’re laughing as you tell me what crazy thing your 5 year old said last week. Maybe you’re gazing out the window while I’m getting my camera ready. Maybe you brush your finger tips across your brow to push back a strand of hair away from your face.

It’s in those tiny moments when you are just being yourself, being a woman, that the confidence comes out. I don’t know about you, but sincere confidence in just being comfortable in your own skin is pretty darn sexy. (No matter what gender!)
